Dacic: Concept of dual sovereignty unacceptable to us

BELGRADE – The concept of dual sovereignty is unacceptable to Serbia, Serbian FM Ivica Dacic said Friday, adding that Belgrade and Pristina were expected to face more pressure at an upcoming meeting in Berlin in order to continue dialogue.

Speaking to the RTS, Dacic said the Berlin meeting had been called “much to the surprise” of Brussels and that many countries were dissatisfied with that.

As examples, he cited Austria and Italy – states that are a part of the Berlin Process but are not invited to the meeting.

“That shows that geopolitical games are being played – no longer with Russia and China, but within the West itself. As you know, the US will not be taking part in the meeting,” Dacic said.
