In a letter to Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic on Serbia’s National Day, US Secretary of State, Antony Blinken says his country encourages Serbia in reaching an agreement with Kosovo centered on mutual recognition.

In his letter, Blinken said that such an agreement will foster greater security and stability in the region.

“We are committed to supporting Serbia’s goal of European integration, and we encourage comprehensive normalization of relations centered on mutual recognition with Kosovo, which will foster greater security and stability in the region,” Blinken wrote on his letter.
