Kosovo and Serbia are close to reaching an agreement on some documents. This was announced by EU Special Representative on Kosovo-Serbia dialogue, Miroslav Lajcak, who spoke about the recent meetings he had with the two countries’ chief negotiators on Tuesday in Brussels.
“After 11 hours of intense negotiations yesterday, we are close to reaching an agreement on some documents. But as so often, the last step is the most difficult one. The work continues,” the EU official announced in a message posted on Twitter.
On Tuesday, chief negotiators from Kosovo and Serbia held bilateral meetings with EU officials, but did not meet each other.
Government in Pristina announced that the discussions focused on issues concerning energy, missing persons and licence plates.
