US special envoy for Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar and the EU envoy for the dialogue between Kosovo and Serbia, Miroslav Lajcak will visit Kosovo today in an attempt to push the process of dialogue between the two countries.
According to analysts, the meeting will focus on the implementation of the agreements that the sides have reached so far.
In an interview for Gazeta Express, Lajcak said his visit to Pristina and Belgrade with US Envoy for the Western Balkans, Gabriel Escobar scheduled from 31 January to 2 February, has three purposes.
„First, to show the unity, namely that the dialogue is facilitated by the EU and supported by US. Second, to listen from our partners and discuss with them on how to move forward, and third, to discuss several current issues,“ Lajcak told Gazeta Express.
