Kosovo president, Vjosa Osmani declared today that this year Kosovo will apply to join the Council of Europe as a member.

„I have requested that all measures be taken and all preparations be made in order for us to apply for accession to the Council of Europe this year,“ she said.

Meanwhile, as far as NATO membership is concerned, the head of the state said this is difficult and that it requires more time.
