EU spokesperson, Peter Stano says efforts are currently being made to enable a meeting between leaders of Kosovo and Serbia as part of the process of dialogue that the two countries are engaged in with the aim of normalising their ties. Stano said that the two sides have shown their readiness to make progress in the process of dialogue, but, according to him this progress „is slower than what the EU and US would have wished for“.

„We welcome the readiness shown by president Vucic and PM Kurti to travel to Brussels for the next round of high level political dialogue. The EU is ready to host such meeting as soon as the sides show that they’re ready to agree on positive results, which would benefit citizens and would enable this process to move forward,“ the EU spokesperson said.
